There seems to be a set of traffic lights under the wing, with the
green illuminated. Anyone know what they are??

Aren't they recognition lights ?
Can't be all that safe firing a very pistol through a crack in the canopy.

We had a Boomerang pass through the Seattle area about 16 years ago, made
one appearance at a local air show, then disappeared.

Perhaps... I was trying to remember whether there was something
similar on the Wirraway (same factory, same era) - but it's too long
ago :-(
